This is one my favorite Hymns.

For me, the highlight of the piece is the way the two verses are done, first each on its own, and then together in counterpoint. The female solo sings the comforting voice of a loving Lord, while the tenor solo sings in acknowledgment of his pain and the care received in times of need.
